I’ve been a little down because today my doctor diagnosed me with John Travolta Syndrome. It’s a condition where your face or head grows laterally, getting wider year by year. It’s not so much of a problem and it’s nothing to be ashamed of, it’s just a condition. In fact mine is good because it means my brain is getting bigger too. But not that Travolta guy, his head is mostly fat. The doctors said I am much smarter than John Travolta and I believe them.

the discrimination has begun!
those basturds

hope it's only temporary, guys.
it would ruin my naive view on the world if these jokers actually found a way to keep others from using their app., and then actually incorporating it.

i will never use it.

I"ve been having great success with Soulseek! I've been able to find a bevy of rare (or at least obscure) files in the experimental, ambient, electronic, and post-rock genres, and I've even searched for pop stuff and found tons of returns. Connecting has never been a problem, queueing is not nearly as bad a Winmx, although I've only been able to download one file at a time from each user.
Maybe it's time to give it another shot--Nir seems to have handled the AG onslaught pretty well.

i agree. maybe it was a scaling issue related to huge amounts of new users or something else entirely but whatever it was they seemed to have worked out the problems of two weeks ago. it's another great addition to the p2p pantheon.
