Organize your music
Here's a site with a database and program for organizing your music .
MusicBrainz is a community music metadatabase that attempts to create a comprehensive music encyclopedia. Automatic Audio CD and digital audio track identification using community supplied and maintained data is the first goal of MusicBrainz. In the future, MusicBrainz will have a genre system and a comprehensive geneology of music, tracking not only music releases, but also detailed information about who contributed to a piece of music. MusicBrainz will keep track of which artists/performers/engineers contributed to a piece of music, and when these contributions took place. The system will also keep track of artist influences on each other and many more pieces of information to create a comprehensive geneology of modern music. To get started using MusicBrainz, take a look at the search page. For a more in-depth view of MusicBrainz, take a look at the introduction page and the information pages. To get started contributing to MusicBrainz, please look at our contribute and moderation introduction pages. All of the data collected on this server is made available to the public under the OpenContent license. http://musicbrainz.org/ |

very interesting napho. it says they've calculated nearly a million tracks so far. this could be a great help to a lot of people with bad file titles.
btw, how is this supported - adware, spyware, or like cddb initially, clean for now? - js. |

I never got that program but it looks perfectly clean. They take donations and are affiliated with Affero http://affero.com/
