But not that Travolta guy, his head is mostly fat. The doctors said I am much smarter than John Travolta and I believe them.

In about a half hour (Noon EST) I'll be testing out my broadcast abilities by playing the following 2 new release albums via shoutcast...

The White Stripes - Elephant (April 22 Release)

Various Artists - We're A Happy Family - A Tribute to the Ramones

Tracks by Rob Zombie, Eddie Vedder, Marilyn Manson, KISS, U2, Tom Waits among many others all doing Ramones tunes.

so TRY before you STEAL!

Excellent. I'll be tuning in, even though it starts at 4am on Monday morning ffs
For the chronologically challenged like me, 8pm GMT is around 35 minutes from now.

I also spotted the proverbial piece of the three kids downloading 6000 (?) songs in 3 days.... a brilliant idea to mix some RIAA rap into it!

ty VERY much TG. that michael jackson thing was by fatboy slim, leading into/overlapping with something (i don't remember the exacxt track name) from felix da housecat's album 'kittenz and the glitz' toward the end.

alkizz's old skool 'beaver music' is now playing. and in 30 minutes lv15 will be taking over djing to finish our day. so if you have listened please do!

http://philomath.unixcore.com:6789/listen.pls

and we'll be back next week!

abnormal service will be resumed in about 30 minutes (after this mix) when the award winning LV15 takes over duties for a couple of hours with the latest and greatest bootlegs, whitelabels and other stuff that he's got lying around

You guys have been running a great music show... good mixes also from Naz & alkizz!

alkizz, what was that long track with lyrics going something like 'i'm your beat box (?) rocker and you're dancing to my beat...'?

Ok... let's see next what our ever humble award winning mixer is capable of...

Wink

Thanks for the info, alkizz.

And thanks also to LV15 for the interesting set. I passed out around Meat Beat Manifesto but that was only because of the late hour, not the music...

Now a technical question... how do you handle these broadcasts technically? Do you need to upload your material in advance to the server or can you also play 'live' from your homes, feeding your own part of the show to the server in real time?
