Time check please
I try always to be discreet, and as a result, sent a PM to that person responsible for this website (?), pointing out that the time reference on our homepage is incorrect, and based on current London time, which is actually British Summer Time, not GMT, and is therefore 1hour ahead of GMT. The incorrect time reference can be confusing when trying to relate certain posts to a particular time-reference, so it would be helpful if it could be corrected. Thanks!

Daylight savings time, VW. I have to set mine to central even though I'm in mountain. When DST ends I'll switch it back and all will be well.

TG, I can't understand this - the time was, as multi said a while back, spot on. Now, the board's clock seems to have changed, and corrected itself back an hour (maybe auto-correct for DST) when both hemispheres changed (Southern countries, in the main, went on the Summer or Daylight Saving, and Northern went back to Standard - this would account for the board's GMT now being one hour behind what it should be - I think computers can just outsmart themselves at times!

Petriburg, it seems the server's clock shifted with one hour during the transition away from US DST. The board software has only one global time setting - offset from server time to GMT - and I have adjusted it accordingly. You must also adjust your own timezone (in your Profile) to reflect your present situation (DST/wintertime). The time is now correct for me, how is it for you?
