and i don't give a flying fuck what eminem says

i have heard some of the most beautiful "piano" pieces in some of the techno i've discovered.

Listen to "Sun Trust - How insensitive" maybe the best "piano" piece ever made.

just hearing the flute in there.......i play the flute, btw.

they mixed this well with the beat in the background.
so meloncholy (sp?).
i imagine myself.....arms draped over some schmoes shoulders...feet and hips, cha-chaing, left.....right......left.
head back, eyes half open in a daze....the music completely taking me away...oh.....shit......i really just wanted to say thanks!!!!!!

It’s not so much of a problem and it’s nothing to be ashamed of, it’s just a condition. In fact mine is good because it means my brain is getting bigger too. But not that Travolta guy, his head is mostly fat. The doctors said I am much smarter than John Travolta and I believe them.

Have to agree with you about Massive Attack. The best band in this country when it comes to capturing a beat and making it into something else. Except for that strange version of Light My Fire , did nothing for me that.

Nanook, I'm having a ball with this list of yours

...all kinds of good stuff here. I'm into New Order's Crystal at the moment. Can't believe it's been like 20 years since Blue Monday for these guys and they still rock.

cool, Knife......hope u find lots u love!!!!!!!!!
my allllllllll time fav will always be "Enjoy The Silence", by Mike Koglin....so haunting....mesmerizing....lots of different sounds in there....i like that.....and that it has few words. i like to feel the music sometimes without lyrics, and they mos def did it with this song. i think this is why i like this genre of music.

i like these lists as well.......still working on LV's.

I like Enjoy The Silence also. I really like techno/trance that uses traditional instruments in the mix. Robert Miles is a big fave of mine also.

Jeff Tweedy and Jim O'Rourke--Loose Fur (advance copy)

This is ear candy, almost like a stripped down Yankee Hotel Foxtrot meets Insignificance.
