for maximum pr value, the timing was pretty precise too...the Thanksgiving weekend is generally a pretty slow four day weekend for US news, so an attack like this was guaranteed to dominate the news cycle longer than it might have at other times of year. my mom travels to India regularly and stays at the Taj in Mumbai, but i doubt she'll ever go back after this.
