When I listen to "classical" music, I am amazed at how difficult it must be to play and compose it. My favorite "classical" composer is Bach.

Now for modern music, I think the best music that's been made is by King Crimson. But I can't think of any striking examples of their individual songs.

Nobody has mentioned Tommy Bolin.

This guy was way ahead of his time. His Band had some great players in it. He was another guy who died of a drug overdose. Some called it suicide.

Try 'little sister' or 'shake the devil'.

He has a few more really good ones but I can't remember the names at the time.
