Considering that the planes originated in Cuba IMO "hijacked" is a bad and even wrong term to use. Stolen is probably more like it? It's not uncommon for the Coast guard or Air Force to catch illegal flights in that part of the U.S. from people trying to defect. Also considering no direct passenger flights are allowed between the U.S. and Cuba because of sanctions any traffic would be an immediate alert. They probably did make the news but hijacked wasn't the term used it was probably more like "planes carrying Cuban defectors"

thanks for clearing that bit up awe shucks...that makes sense ..i didnt really think they would actually cover up a hijacked plane...
the news probably would of got reported but more localy so i wouldnt hear where i am or on the net.. |
