found the demo fascinating when the guitarist switched to jimmy page's tuning "c suspended second" for "the rain song." never knew it was custom tuned to begin with (it's obvious had i thought about it tho) but hearing the instrumennt retune itself at that speed i could sense it was going into "zep mode." very cool. will change the guitar and how people play, but all the same frightfully expensive.

The Transperformance guitar retrofit is absolutely amazing. it does cost quite a bit, but once you've tried a guitar with the system, you're sold.
Yes it is THAT good. I play in several different tunings, which used to be a drag in a live situation. Different sounding guitars, a lot of dead time between songs, etc. Now I've got one guitar which is ALWAYS in tune, plus it change tunings in a second. When it comes to songwriting, the possibilities are infinite. I can't imagine doing a gig without it ever again. Plus you're getting the greatest customer service on the planet. Neil, the inventor, is the greatest. Do yourself a favour, check it out! |
