Where Are 'New' Napster Tracks Stored?
Does anyone know where Napster tracks are stored on your hard drive when you're just listening to them? They download, but I can't find them.

Hello sls-sls & welcome to the p2p-zone forums.
I don't have this program installed, but the music files are probably downloaded to a folder inside the program directory, which should look something like C:\Program Files\Napster. Good luck It's not terribly good value, the music files are of mediocre quality with limits on how many copies you can burn, evil stuff like that. Edit: I just read your question again, and it sounds like you're just 'streaming' the files, which means they probably won't even be saved to your computer's hard drive. If that's right, you could possibly capture it with a sound card audio out, or software like Total Recorder, but that's about it. Last edited by Fantom : 29-02-04 at 11:16 PM. |

Unless it's changed, if you didn't specify a location, they just go to the C drive. Not any folder.
Do a search for one and you'll probably find them all at the same spot. |
