Serverless eMule
You get the mule + a serverless Kademelia similar to the eDonkey Hybrid. Kad doesn't connect to Overnet but it seems to be growing. A couple days ago I saw almost no files on the serverless network.

How is the stability Being an alpha "test" release I was a little iffy about trying it. Someone got some feedback on it?

It seems quite stable. I can't tell the difference between this and the usual mule except everything seems to move a little slower, like opening and hashing. Here's the new version. ed2k://|file|eMule0.40b12.zip|2423395|C9A584089D0C4DC3F468DC17717B1 5FE|/ |

Thanks for the good news, Napho.
eMule is in a good position to start its own decentralized network. It is by far the most popular client on the eDonkey network so there will be no shortage of peers or content when the new network starts off officially. The development team is innovative and active and has already mastered serverless features like direct source exchange between the peers. I predict good prospects for the project - there will soon be an important new decentralized network with good offerings especially for movie lovers. And of course, in the healthy open source spirit, for free and with no adware or spyware whatsoever. - tg |

The source exchange kicks ass. I've set my max sources per file to 1000, and it's a beauty to watch in action

The developers of eMule have changed the protocol for the serverless network and are asking everyone participating in the public alpha test to upgrade to version 0.39c13.
