say what?
i was just there a few hours ago...at UTC i mean.. pc techtalk is an exelent place... yeah i just saw this... We got some huge news folks. After months of planning, www.unitethecows.com is merging with our sister site, www.pctechtalk.com! All accounts and memberships will be transfered as they are. All of of our forums and threads will be transferred as well. In other words, all accounts and threads will be intact. This is great for so many reasons, they are too numerous too mention. All of our previous database errors and bandwitch overruns should be a thing of the past. But the best thing is, we are expanding our horizons! We will be now more of an overall site, including PC Technical, Product Reviews, Digital Media, Filesharing etc. So come on over to www.pctechtalk.com, our new pasture and home! Paraphrasing Mark Twain, " The news of our demise has been greatly exaggerated." spooky.... didnt follow the events leading to that...so its a little bit of a surprise |

Greetings from your PCTechTalk.com Staff! We first off wanted to welcome everyone from UniteTheCows.com. We appreciate your patience as we enter a new era of growth and improvement on computer support for anyone who needs it. From PC Hardware and Software including great Peer to Peer network software. Every member from UTC has the same account at PCTechTalk and all of your posts still exist in the forums including all the great information on P2P apps. UniteTheCows and PCTechTalk have always been sister sites and with this merger we feel that we have not lost a community.. instead we feel we have built upon that same community to help each other out and enjoy the same great friendly conversation as always. Should you ever need any help or have any concerns dont be hesitant about contacting a member of the staff at PCTechTalk; we are here to help you adjust to the new interface and find things if you are confused. Once again thank you for your continued support and we hope you will enjoy the community we are continuing to improve on daily. Regards, PCTT Staff |

Perhaps this is a sign of the times to come, where the forums will merge into one giant corporation and the FCC will start shutting down the existing independent ones in the name of preserving scarce internet bandwidth.
