New to Overnet... Help?
So I just got Overnet up and running and searched for the file i wanted... and yeah; I got a number of hits back of seemingly identical file names, with seemingly identical sizes; with varying numbers under "availability".
So here's my newbie question: What's the best way to proceed? Download them all? If I download them all will it know to categorize/rename them or will I be overwriting one file with another file etc? Or do I just download the one with the best availability? And btw, I assume the best availability is the highest number? Or the lowest number? Thanks!

The bigger the # the greater the number of sources. However they aren't incredibly accurate much of the time because Overnet is serverless. Sometimes there aren't even any availability numbers. I guess if you want a song badly you could try dl'ing all the different hashes of the same song.
btw You get alot more sources using eDonkey itself or the open source version eMule or eMule Plus. |
