like radio caroline in the 1970s, underground webcasters have turned their back on mega-sized media companies whose onerous laws attempt to silence their voices. one technology being explored is the fairly untracable peer-to-peercast. after several false starts it's ready for general low-bit (24-32kbps) streaming. one client i like is
Streamer. it couldn't be easier to use and it automatically loads the peercast into winamp. well gee, i'm not going to stop fighting
CARP but it's nice to have a back-up plan.
