well, i have spent this year falling in love with techno/trance/dance music.
and i don't give a flying fuck what eminem says i have heard some of the most beautiful "piano" pieces in some of the techno i've discovered. some is trivial w/o substance, but it has to have a certain something if i am to trully love it enough to play it over and over. here is a list of some of the stuff i am listening to lately. some newer and older stuff... TGP feat. Candy - Fly me to the Moon (DJ's @ Work remix) Piet Blank & Jaspa Jones - After Love (short) Rank1 - Awakening (Cosmic Gate Remix) Atlantic Ocean - Waterfall Svenson &Gielen - We Know What You Did ( Radio Edit) 4 Clubbers - Children (Club Radio Edit) Dynamic - La March De La Lune DJ's @ Work - Time 2 Wonder Raven Maize - Fasinated Sub Sub - Ain't No Love, Ain't No Use sunscreem vs. push - please save me (video mix) The Silence - Mike Koglin Blank & Jones - The Nightfly Aeon And BMi - Masterpiece Of Emotion Klea - Tic Toc E-Type - Life Olive - You're Not Alone KMC ft. Dhany - I Feel So Fine Galleon - So I Begin way out west - the fall Voodoo & Serano - Blood Is Pumpin' Kai Tracid - Life is too Short Real McCoy - Another Night Superman Lovers - Starlight Dirty Vegas - Days Go By (Full Vocal Mix) New Order - Bizarre Love Triangle Daft Punk ft. DJ Sneak - Digital Love The Kinky Boyz-Definitive Mix - The Only Way Is Up Fat Boy Slim - Love Island The Girl Next Door - Salsoul Nugget (If U Wanna) Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar Urban Cookie Collective - The Key, The Secret Adamski - Killer Silver - Turn The Tide Basement Jaxx - Romeo Tricky - Evolution Revolution Love New Order - Confusion Faithless - Insomnia Basement Jaxx - Jump N' Shout Daft Punk - Around the World Scatman John - Scatman Basement Jaxx - Rendez-Vu Jean Michel Jarre - Zoolook Chemical Brothers - Under the Influence New Order - Blue Monday (Hardfloor Remix) Prodigy - Voodoo People Fatboy Slim - Because We Can Chemical Brothers - Let Forever Be Sylver - Forever In Love Delerium - Silence Crystal Method - Comin' Back Prodigy - Out of Space Kay Cee - I feel you New Order - Crystal

some big names missing from that list...so incase you aint heard them yet....you should check out Underworld - 8 Ball Leftfield - Leftism (the whole album) Orbital - The Box or The Girl With The Sun In Her Head Groove Armada - Goodbye Country, Hello Nightclub (the whole album) but if you only check out one suggestion i make...then make it Massive Attack - Unfinished Sympathy, Protection And Angel and once those 3 tunes have converted you...just download all 3 massive attack albums |

I’ve been a little down because today my doctor diagnosed me with John Travolta Syndrome. It’s a condition where your face or head grows laterally, getting wider year by year. It’s not so much of a problem and it’s nothing to be ashamed of, it’s just a condition. In fact mine is good because it means my brain is getting bigger too. But not that Travolta guy, his head is mostly fat. The doctors said I am much smarter than John Travolta and I believe them. |

my allllllllll time fav will always be "Enjoy The Silence", by Mike Koglin....so haunting....mesmerizing....lots of different sounds in there....i like that.....and that it has few words. i like to feel the music sometimes without lyrics, and they mos def did it with this song. i think this is why i like this genre of music. i like these lists as well.......still working on LV's.

I like Enjoy The Silence also. I really like techno/trance that uses traditional instruments in the mix. Robert Miles is a big fave of mine also.
