hi guys and gals.
i don't know what i will do without you. this forum is a wealth of information and i find myself asking questions and always thinking of you i have found a JOB. okay it's a potential job that i would like to email my resume to. Here's my problem...i need to scan a document and attach it as page 3 to my resume, but i don't know how to do this. i tried copy and pasting but the document appears HUGE and only shows part of it. i have a Canoscan FB 630Ui. i saved the doc at 8x11. should i save it smaller???? and am i doing the right thing by copy and pasting??? is there another way i'm not thinking about. Can you export the document into the word processor????? Help hey......they extended me one more month...okay i have 3 weeks, but i'm pretty sure that will be it. but if i get this job..........woohoo!!!!!!!! luv you guys

Check your scanner software for something like a text recognising program.
Takes the text off a page, converts to ASCII, which any word processor will reconise. Hey, Babe..... |

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Photo Express 2.0 employs an open file format architecture to support file reading and writing operations. Additional File Input Output (FIO) modules can be added to the FIO folder to enable reading new file formats. This version of Photo Express comes with over thirty modules which are placed in the FIO folder under the program folder. you got me as to what this exactly means does this mean anything? i've read and tried everything.......i think can I save it into a more workable format???? hi dawnie thanks, ranger dude.........

Look for something that says OCR. That's probably what ranger was talking about.
