RIP At the Drive-In
they were one of my fav bands ( http://www.atthedrive-in.net/ )
and I was sad when they went on permanant hiatus...but now some of the members are back with Sparta http://www.spartamusic.com/ for those of you who have never heard of At the Drive-In they are kinda punk, kinda ska, kinda a mix of lots of stuff...definately worth checking out |

I never really liked them. They sounded like a bad Fugazi rip-off to me. They had stupid hair too.

I resented how much the music industry tried to push them on me as 'the new hip thing' so I stayed away. Maybe now that they are broken up I'll give a listen; hehe.

after a couple months of listenting to Sparta I would have to conclude that yes they are pretty good. They were even played a couple of times on a popular rock station here in town (something ATDI never accomplished here)
