Methinks Jazz is misplaced with R&B and Soul. It fitteth better with Classical, which is probably also a closer fit with Instrumental and Ambient than Opera, depending on where one applies the blades of taste and style. Thus have I voted for none of the above. Why, this very thread may be misplaced! Doesn't it fit better in the new Music Forum?
And where does choral music fit into this scheme? It surely ain't opera! I know, because I like it! How about world music? Enough griping! |

Why is pop with disco? Just cause i listen to crap like Britney Spears, doesn't mean you need to insult me, oh wait maybe it does.

Yeah. I can think of like four kinds of Jazz right off the bat, from Scribbly Elevator Wallpaper to Demonic Possession. (Technical Jazz terms)
(BTW, Jazz is a sign of mental illness, which all of you who read WalkieTalkie's posts know) What would need to happen here is more categories and a multiple choice option. There wasn't even a reference to Balinese-Post-Quasi-Industrial-Neo-Bluegrass-Punk-Fusion anywhere!!! I mean REALLLLLY. |

I'm that one person who picked Dance,... because it's the closest to what I like and what I like best from the list.
To me, music is only divided in the following way: House, Retrohouse, Dance, Trance, Hardcore, Other.

none of the above
had to put none of the above since there's no indie/college/alternative option; which is my preferred genre if i had to pick one.

shani, the tenth reply to this thread is yours, and it contains this link
http://shani113.homestead.com/files/...-_keren_or.mp3 I went to the site and found a 3.61 megabytes file that's 3:56 in length. The whole file contains silence, from what I can tell. I don't know if you're aware of that. |
