What Do You use To Find Info About Bands You Don't Know ?
I spend 50 minutes doing research and 10 setting up downloads. It's taking the fun out of the p2p experience. I don't need much. I can live with just knowing somewhat the category or "genre". I use too many sites to find info to make a list here. I'm praying that someone will come up with the holy grail. Isn't it funny, going wild goose chasing info about getting info? The unseemly and yet important human factor in the age of information. Come on, someone, please! spill the beans. Last edited by spstn : 16-11-02 at 12:19 PM. |

I’ve been a little down because today my doctor diagnosed me with John Travolta Syndrome. It’s a condition where your face or head grows laterally, getting wider year by year. It’s not so much of a problem and it’s nothing to be ashamed of, it’s just a condition. In fact mine is good because it means my brain is getting bigger too. But not that Travolta guy, his head is mostly fat. The doctors said I am much smarter than John Travolta and I believe them. |

Not quite clear on what you're looking for..
All I really need to know about a band is what their music sounds like. If they turn out to be an extraordinary band with lots of great songs, I might dig a little deeper, but that's pretty rarely the case. |

Electronic: No!, Metal-Gothic: Argh! No!, Progressive Rock-Jazz-rock-Fusion: Uummh!!
Thanks for the suggestions guys.
Le Grand Quebequois (just kidding!) monsieur mdneer hit the nail on the head. All Music has hit the mark every single time. Being the library mouse that I am, I'm afraid the problem it's gonna get worse, because NOW I wanna know. Search, search, search and download. |

New Yorker through and through. Glad I could help. AMG has helps me almost every time and points me towards artists I'd never have had heard otherwise. |
