well, the spin is that Goss could no longer abide John Negroponte, the director of National Intelligence (or vice versa) - the fact that the Prez stood by his side and praised him as he resigned would support this angle. but the bubbles about his attendance at the poker parties with convicted GOP Congressman Duke Cunningham continue to float to the surface:

Yeah, non-scandal is a much better choice of words.
If Goss was involved in this do you think Josh Bolten would have had Bush backslapping and high-fiving him at a press conference? Bolten isn't stupid. |
