Kazaa - lite downloads folder
Last time I posted, my post got transferred - so I'm putting this here, but would normally use byte bits, if you get my drift!
I recently installed the latest version of kazaa-lite - seems ok but there's one feature which annoys the hell outa me - it will not allow me to change its (apparently mandatory) downloads folder from C:\my shared files. Yes, I can add another folder, but not change this one. Anyone got any ideas? Oh, and yes, one can prevent downloads going to the c-drive - by not sharing. But that's not my way of doing things. - petri Computer experts - living a hand-to-mouse existence?

In my version, it's: options/Kazaa Lite K++ options/traffic. Then I choose which folder I want things to go to. You must have a different version than mine.

You can change it with the ConfigWizard which is in the K-Lite folder.

Ok, now I know you do have a different version than mine. You can't get to the configuration wizard thru Kazaa (I assume that's what you are trying to do). You have to navigate to the Kazaa program folder in your Program Files, via Windows Explorer.
Once you get to the Kazaa folder, you'll find the config wizard in there. Here's a screen shot. (p.s. that's not my ugly color theme)

Thanks, Dawn and napho for the info - I knew I could count on my napsterites playmates having the answer! What surprises me is that it can't be accessed from the K-lite toolbar, and that I missed a 'configuration' window when I reinstalled the new version just a few days ago. Guess these things happen.
Anyhow, all's well now, and downloads will, in future, go where I want them to go!
