Looks like Morpheus is a Gnucleus clone. With bugs.

I last used Gnucleus to search for Denise Richards. When I installed Morpheus there was Denise in the search box.
I know you guys love the name Morpheus but I think the original is alot better. And you're going to need Grokster or Kazaa for the FastTrack network. |

Can be used to successfully connect?
I just cannot image the router.limewire.com surviving this.

yep. but they'll be getting more supernodes too so it may work out. the network's up and i'm downloading my first tune. beatles@14KBS. i see otr & some pgms on here too like quark etc. there are some transfer parameters you can set like bandwidth etc but i don't see an audio only key. all in all it may be a decent gnutella.
right now i'm off to get grokster. as much as they love that fasttrack network it's just too good to leave to the riaa. they're going to have to share. oh yeah and btw, welcome to nu snowman! it's been a while. glad you made it. - js. |

Hey, I just installed gnucleus (after installing morpheus ) . I got clean kazaa, thanks to riaa on winx. A hacked no-ad no-spyware version of kazaa . Edit: Too bad it keeps disconnecting me.

Looks like this version is a poor imitation of Gnucleus. After installation, it sits there happy and stupid not looking for any servers to connect to. Uninstalled it ran gnucleus and got 3 hosts up in about 10 secs. Oh, well, they come they go. It was worth a shot to see if its any good.

If you install Grokster it will pick up your unfinished downloads right where they left off. Just do as Napho says here Grokster and spyware |

Sweet, thanks. I tried putting a .dat file in Grokster and it showed up as an unfinished transfer. I guess i'll use that till Morpheus gets fixed up.
