Political body-language
I was amused the other day by the press conference Bush gave regarding the WMD inquiry he's going to rig.
"errr, what we don't know yet... is... what we thought and... what the errrr... the Iraqi Survet Group has found... [looks blank]... and... [quickly] we wanna look at that, but we also wanna look at our... war against proliferation ans weaponsamassdes'ruction [louder] in a broader context" Confused? "What we don't know yet... is... what we thought"? Sorry, I know it's his favourite party trick, but I couldn't resist a jab at his impression of a confused old man. He does it so well. More importantly though, watch the clip yourself and try to keep your attention on both his body posture, facial gestures, use of his hands and speed of delivery, in relation to the words he's saying. Interesting stuff. RECCOMENDED... Full legnth excerpt - High Quality RealPlayer... Shortened (and more forgiving) version - Low Quality RealPlayer...
