WinMx 3.0 Beta & MXNapper
Looks like my initial OPenNapconfig lists to get you started are no longer needed, thanks to "MXNapper" arriving on the scene.
MXNapper uses the Napigator.com servers listing to do an auto-update. You need to download MxNapper "setup" (thats a thoughtful name, which will NEVER be confused in your download folder?) Have WinMx 3.0 Beta 5 running, install and run MXNapper, select Update after highlighting all the servers you want to include in your list. There is an option to include a pre-configuration of your user name and password, or you can simply use the Settings menu in WinMx to do it later. Sorry I don't have the URL for MxNapper, I came across it after a long and very protracted search, promptly saved the address and got the address of the first site only? {One day I'll learn how to use a browser?} To manually get the server list, goto http://www.napigator.com/servers There is a link to the MXNapper from the NapiMx page, a search engine will find this OK Perhaps someone more web-wise would like to post the link if they find it? I get headaches with all this stuff.... Snark.. |

All good things?
Come to an end they say...
http://www.freeweb.hu/someone/index.php Thanks Napho, that was it, I searched hi & lo for it again, could I find it? So you get 78 odd servers (current list) but guess what? 20 of them are subscribe only registered users servers, another 15 or so failed to connect, and about produced an instant disconnect, on three or four different client settings, so Fussy Servers are Still the rule it seems? JS, don't reckon you will miss it because my lists are crafted from servers that actually work, and don't seem to be fussy, well not much, so perhaps 37 isn't such a bad count afterall.. For those with a thirst for servers, here is an extra one NOT on the lists... [Studboy] blackout.dyndns.org:8888 Hm... interesting name. one for the Ladies maybe? Snark... (Whoops Sorry Dawn, Bella, TG, and all you Nice gals) OhMy, I forgot... Guess who.... Hm... thats me off the Christmas list... GR.. |
