wiFT 0.0.1 - windows giFT 'front-end'
I haven't seen much progress on the giFT for windows or OpenFT fronts, but just noticed this Windows giFT client (?) has been released. Could an open source FastTrack-type network finally be a reality for us Windows users? download and info page: http://sourceforge.net/projects/wift/ screen shots: http://wift.sourceforge.net/ Maybe one of the hardcore NU testers (or someone with Go Back) could try this out, see if they can get it working.

It still needs the daemon, which you still need to compile.

ay, there's the rub. I dunno how to compile diddly, and so far folks here who do haven't been able to manage it on Windows.
but someone somewhere IS, coz they keep coming out with Windows front ends for it. Hopefully it won't be too long before end-users can really get stuck in.
