Hmm, I don't really think reducing copyright privelages is such a good idea. After all, once the people start to get they're freedom's back from the government they might start wanting their money back from the government too, then the Democrats would be out of business.

Just kidding. This is the best article I've read on the subject, especially the explanation of copyright bargain. The fact that our representatives in D.C. don't think making laws that protect the public interest is a priority sickens me. For now it doesn't seem to be a partisan issue, and I hope it stays that way. The best way to stop this movment dead would be to incorporate it into a party platform, and it doesn't matter which party.

It's all in the name, copyright literally means a right to copy. Why is this so difficult to understand?
