i was powerless to resist the little guys, i d/l'd the
9meg zip!
i installed the jar file and it did evrything automaticaly. it didn't ask for a directory or anything. for all i know it runs right off the 'disc'. then it opened. i searched beatles and got some 650 hits at which point it froze. i ctrl alt'ed out and now i can't find the damn thing. there are a ton of folders for p2p downloads, like gnutella etc it installed but the exe is um, missing.
ok, so then i figure maybe it does run straight off the jar. i unzip it again and this time i put it in pgm files and open it. it starts up, remembering my prefs. good sign. this time i run a search for something a little less popular thinking maybe the returns jammed it up. i do "groove armada" and i get some back. i click a few with several sources but get queud on each one.
then it starts to cry (really, the little space dude pops up with a tear) and tells me it needs more "superpeers" and won't i please become one? geez, if i wanted to be a dad...
