the greeter was just trying to be helpfull, sheez. the guy had been in the day before enquiring about the perfect way to split open someones' head w/an ax. he was told they couldn't possibly answer his question except in the most general terms w/out knowing the type of ax, its' handle, sharpness and balancing point. if he wanted more specifics, he'd just have to bring it in.

the greeter knew all that from the morning managers' meeting. it's just another way home depot does more for the customer.
