i hope they've done some serious debugging. recent versions completely effd up sharing, putting so-called root folders off limits. what that has meant for me in a practical sense is i can no longer click-to-share my pictures folder say, since it has many sub-folders (each descriptive of the contents) or my music folders because they have dozens (or hundreds) of album folders. but even adding those thousands of files, by hand one by one, crashes the client and disables it permanently. the problems seem to have started with corrupted cfg files and repairs meant reconfiguring all the shares – but they won’t stay shared. it's been months since i've been able to share more than a few hundred files.
