ok i watched it this morning after taping the 1 am feed from c-span. couple of things: 1, he can't answer a direct question if it makes him uncomfortable (the one about him testifying together w/cheney when the commision wanted them there individually is just one example). and 2, almost all questions make him uncomfortable.
it was a piss poor performance heavy on religious portent and light on factual honesty. "I also have this belief, strong belief that freedom is not this country's gift to the world. Freedom is the Almighty's gift to every man and woman in this world. And as the greatest power on the face of the earth, we have an obligation to help the spread of freedom." so he's helping god fight the iraqis. this is the best we've got? ok, maybe we should start praying.
