unless we sue this may be the last year for connecticut's curtain-lever voting machines, my favorite kind.
my dad would bring me with him on election day and let me "vote" (they're from the 60's) and i've been voting on them ever since. next year however it's electronic, with paper backups i hope but i need to ask the sec of state about that detail. i'm putting in a request for an old one - they'r the size of refrigerators and i love them. big mechanical gizmos. large amount of voting history on these things too.
