Overnet seems to have been a disappointment to the developer. He thought the severless Donkey would replace the original but as it stands the open source eMule dominates the network. I think he expects this to benefit Overnet more than anything else but I doubt it'll ever catch up to eMule, especially if they add Overnet support.
