ok i changed mine from 17 to 05 (decimal). the 'new version' pop-up vanished but morpheus wouldn't connect. then the pop-up returned - and morpheus connected, and for the first time today! the stats were way off tho -
"262 users online sharing OK files, 1.5 GB" (ok files?). that wouldn't work so i closed and relaunched. the pop-up came back, morpheus would
not connect and my registry entry changed to a 19.
i changed it back to 05 and once again the same process repeated itself. good work

btw, i think what's happening is i'm getting stuck in one node, and it might even be mine. 262 users is about average for a node, maybe a little less actually but we know the network's contracted so that's a good estimate. why it's intermittent, why i can't get back in eveytime, is unclear.
