the lineage goes something like this:
the Nixon adminstration spawned
Donald Segretti and
Charles Colson , who begat
Lee Atwater, who was, at least spiritually, if not in actual fact, the illegitimate stepmother of
Karl Rove .
Segretti and Colson went on to become convicted criminals, Atwater had the grace to die of a brain tumor before he could ruin anyone else, and Rove, of course, is currently America's Joseph Goebbels, having come into prominence by being Professor Henry Higgins to Bush's Liza Dolittle.
