But that soldier is scarred for life both physically and mentally. But they don’t understand. They see one soldier wounded and they’ll forget about it like as soon as they change the channel. Some people get brave and they’ll ask me “What happened to your hand?” And I say “I was in Iraq, got injured, lost my hand”, whatever. And they’re like, “The war’s still going on?” And I’m like, oh my God, are you fucking serious? What do you live in a fucking cave?”
