You know, the Iraqi invasion went fairly well because most of the nation is a big flat sand box, except for the north where it's hilly. The army just swept across like a storm. Iran is covered in rocky mountain ranges, with lots of places to hide and spring surprise attacks, kinda like Afghanistan. Though a war with Iran is a possibility invasion is a terrible idea and I hope that fact precludes any military action there.
