excellent program to use instead of the freeware version of mp3trim
mp3DirectCut has no file size limit, you can trim mp3s by working directly on the mpeg frames (this means no lossy re-encodes), add a fade-in or fade-out, normalize (rms levels), supports cuesheets for file splitting, and imho it has a way better interface than mp3trim pro
best part is its freeware and only 63kb!!
