I share a lot of classical music and when I tried to rip a CD with Cdex last week the result was terrible - clearly audible artifacts on several tracks. EAC takes a little longer but the results are always perfect. I always rip to WAV with EAC then batch convert all the files to 256 MP3s in Wavelab or CoolEdit.

I really appreciate all your input on this guys...but I will most certainly try this EAC...Marius has used the both of them and has fond EAC to be the better of the two, (CDex)..I'll definitely giver er a whirl.....
