close enough to the end( just repeats) for me to tell this i guess.

when i was 14? or there abouts i lived on a ranch in southern Arozona. my dad built a adobe building that was where the swimming pool filter was, and the big freezer. there was still a lot of room left in the building, so dad built a room in it, built a horseschue shaped counter around the inside with a sink, then painted the inside black, and sealed all light leaks. then he produced an Omega enlarger, trays, paper, chemicals and we had our darkroom.

over the months i watched and learned, and some time later i was takin b+w pics with a Graflexx 120, and developing the film, and printing them in the darkroom. i had a fm radio on a shelf, and i have very clear memorys of late at night, bright red light, Landslide playing on the radio, as i leaned over the tray of deleloper and watched images appear.

you see, we dident have Photoshop back in those days.
