Democrats say no congressional pay raises unless the minimum wage raise passes.

Roy Blunt of Missouri, the second-ranking Republican says: "the raises are crucial for members of Congress who are not independently wealthy and must operate two households on the current $165,200 salary."

It's just so hard to live on $165k per year.
Maybe that's why so many congressmen / women are so skinny?
They are starving.
