I hate spyware/ adware.... I listed some helpful programs in another thread..but I will list 2 here most relevant to the above comments.

1) Zeroclick2 ...eliminates 'doubleclick' from profiling you ..FREE ( look in freebies) from: www.nsclean.com

2) SpyBlocker 4.75 ...stops spys and bugs and ads BEFORE they get planted on your computer from: www.morelerbe.com/spyblocker
