It probably won't stay like this in the future. I can see a time when the NHS is two-tier, where accident/emergency, recovery and palliative care remain at a decent standard, but other areas of care (CHD, cancers, etc) begin to slide into overt bog-standardness. We'll eventually reach a point where it comes down to income bracket - "if you aint got the money - you gonna die".

Of course, some would argue we're already there.... what was this thread about again? What does this have to do with people giving birth to giant robots with red glowing eyes?
