we've been file sharing like mad for what, 2 years now? the riaa estimates it's lost 2 billion clams. i may be wrong, but i'm certain if they thought they could win even one little case they would've sued the sh*t out of johnnys' mom & dad by now but just think what it would mean if the riaa lost. another napster would light back up the next day and there'd be no looking back, and no future for the labels.

...but while we're on the subject of busts for downloading, weren't some college dorms raided a year or two ago? I remember something like that but I do not recall the disposition of the cases...do you?
