- The online editions of the Swedish newspapers have received hundreds of Pirate Bay related posts. These posts and the online polls organized by the newspapers indicate the Swedish public opinion to split roughly 85 % vs 15 % in support of the pirates and private filesharing vs. copyright cartels and police action against filesharers.
- The Swedish Pirate Party has already 4630 registered members, its growth rate being unparalled in the Swedish political history. Over 2500 new members have joined the party since the Pirate Bay raid.
