well i did find this:

"The low bandwidth stream is 40k.

The broadband stream can vary, depending on the strength of your connection."

also, the files are mp3s.

they don't seem to want to give out the actual bit rate of the "big" stream,

so i'm still guessing 96-112kbs.

and that big pita gap between live tracks? it's not a bug. it's a "feature."
