This is the genuine open source eMule client, developed actively from 2002 by Merkur and other developers as an alternative to the now-deceased commercial closed-source eDonkey client. It is free, has no spyware, adware or other commercial crap.
It is very easy for commercial players to make rip-off versions of open source clients, and this eMule-NG is just one of them. (You can have a look at
