Fortunately I can't imagine any but perhaps one or two of those titles ever for any reason being inserted in my drive.

The scarier thing for me is that I rely heavily on a lot of Sony software, (Acid/Vegas/Soundforge--cracked versions of course). Apparently they're safe--maybe they're too busy crashing every few hours to do any real harm, lol--but I still shudder a little every time I see the 'Starting Sony Database' splash.

After reading this article and all the subsequent (some hilarious) threats and suggestions for 'punishing Sony,' it occurred to me that some worthy programmers should steal these programs, remove all traces of corporate smack from them (why not fix all the bugs too while they're at it) and saturate the file sharing networks with them. They're already ridiculously overpriced and probably already some of the most avidly cracked software in history, but it'd be fitting if no one ever paid for them again.
