The American gov't has spent almost 30 billion dollars on its development and will cost the gov't 250 million to purchase each plane. They plan to buy 267 of them. Here is the problem, with the changing technology, this plane could be obsolete very soon, ohhh, and about the Comanche reconnaissance helicopter. The army cancelled the Comanche program this week, losing $10 billion in the process ($8 billion already spent on development, plus $2 billion in cancellation fees to the manufacturers.), nice eh....
