This rumor doesn't quite makes sense to me.

As for them port scanning, hmm... couldn't that be some kinda ad server type thingie? they have some very intrusive popups.

I could see ZP portscanning to see what p2p progs you were actively using while browsing, but it seems the resources it would take to portscan and log all their surfers wouldn't be worth the info they recieved back... i mean, that's a giant job...
