Default Punished For Buying Software

I got a "trial" version of roller coaster tycoon III from a p2p source.

It worked well but had quite a few bugs in it.

Since I liked the game and a legal copy was only $20.00 I decided to buy it.

The official bug patch was a 110 meg download.

After getting that taken care of; when I tried to play it with the cd in the drive; it wouldn't load.
Error message saying "securerom emulation conflict".

Seems that Sony has decided that Dameon Tools shouldn't be on my system.

Their new securerom 5.0 copy protection detects cd rom drive emulators and if it finds one it won't let the software run.

Also, nothing I have will make a working back-up copy of the game.

Once again Sony goes too far.

I won't make the MISTAKE of buying software with this new protection scheme on it again.
